This page outlines the legal framework and licensing conditions under which RAM FM operates its online broadcasting services.
RAM FM is an independent online radio station based in the Netherlands. We operate under the legal authority and licensing agreements provided by BumaStemra and Sena.
Pursuant to the European "Country of Origin" principle (EU Directive 2019/789), our broadcast is officially licensed for listeners within the Netherlands and the European Union (EU). Our licensing fees contribute directly to the artists, composers, and music producers represented by these Dutch organisations.
RAM FM does not actively target, market to, or solicit commercial interaction from listeners located in territories outside the European Union, including but not limited to the United States (SoundExchange/ASCAP/BMI jurisdictions), Canada (SOCAN/Re:Sound), and the United Kingdom (PPL/PRS).
Access to our stream from territories outside the EU is provided on a passive basis only. We reserve the right to implement geo-blocking measures to comply with international copyright demands and local regulatory requirements.
Our dashboard may display real-time listener statistics and geographic data. This data is processed via third-party services (such as GeoIP and Google Maps). While we strive for accuracy, RAM FM is not responsible for the precision of geographic mapping or the content of external links provided within our console.
All music broadcasted is the property of the respective copyright holders. RAM FM does not claim ownership of the musical content. We strictly adhere to the digital broadcast regulations set forth by our licensing partners.
